About the Project
ENDO1000 is a UK-wide research project
ENDO1000 is a UK-wide research project that will gather detailed data – from Apps, Smartwatches and healthcare records – from 1000 people with symptoms highly suggestive of endometriosis.
We will ask participants to document symptoms and treatments experienced on their smartphones, record information on diet and exercise, use smartwatches to capture movement and sleep patterns, and collect blood/tissue/fluid samples over a two-year period and ask participants in the study for permission to follow them up for a longer period of time.
The resulting ENDO1000 resource will allow research into the development of personalised care for individuals with known or suspected endometriosis and has the potential to transform the lives of millions of people.
How can you help?
Your donation will help us find better ways of diagnosing and new treatments for endometriosis
“I was on 25 tablets a day, a medically induced menopause for 6 months, and had a second surgery to treat the disease. I was unable to work, my relationship broke down and my mental health was suffering”
